Re: To Skip Ahead

It is expected that a timeskip requires work, and that it is not easily done. But to be fair, the e8 system also requires a lot of work, where the possible timeskip seems to inspire and motivate players to return. A timeskip gives a reason to return for many, and make fresh starts or spark life into...

Re: To Skip Ahead

That is a shame, and unfortunate that the team could not reach a common vision.

A timeskip would have given a fresh breath to the server, and it seemed like this was what gave veteran players who are on hiatus motivation to return. I think moreso than the e8 system, at least that is the case for me.

Re: To Skip Ahead

I think a timeskip is a good idea. It brings a fresh perspective to the server, and gives people reason to bring back characters that stagnated. And there would be opportunity for more RP and plotlines. RP between characters would rise up again, as people catch up ICly and talk about stuff that happ...

Re: 'Epic' feats

Same for me. I know mechanics of pretty much any class. Except the custom PRCs on TER, that is.

Re: Bard Song Ideas

I agree with this, to be honest. Especially with some penalties hitting certain classes hard. They can negate this with the perform check but I rather not take the risk, or have it be some math-based thing what gives good benefits and what not. I personally do not see bards as welcome addition to th...

Re: Commands Follower broken

The Hold Ground command did not change anything when I tried it. The dominated animal/animal companion did not move at all when directed. In combat, animals did not change the designated target either, nor did they move when directed. All they did was drop attacking and just stand there. This was fo...

Commands Follower broken

For some reason, animal companions and dominated creatures (And likely summons though I did not try that yet) do not respond to "Command Follower". They just use the default AI that followers have

Re: Player list

People use the term metagame a lot. And pretty much everyone uses it wrong, in my opinion. In this thread it is solely used as a negative thing, something bad to avoid. While metagaming in the way used here is mostly bad, metagame in itself, as the full definition is not always a bad thing. Levels i...

Re: Player list

Pretty much most classes can be evil. There is no need to have it -just- be the PRCs. The lack of evil characters is more than just that, I myself would not roll one, because the server does not really cater to it. It is hard to actually make a proper villain character, without actual DM support. I ...

Thelnam under attack

Spoiler:
Image
By wild seagulls! Most of the seagulls in Thelnam were hostile and were fighting commoners, though some of them (Ones near the ferry/boat) were still tagged friendly. And fighting with the hostile seagulls.
