Transition bug: Easting Wilds Beech Wood - Lake

Spoiler alert! http://i1040.photobucket.com/albums/b406/kerstman86/Buglake_zpspysvrn0t.jpg When key-walking through this border part of the map you end up in the area in wood of tusks where the bugbears are. But you land right in front of their tunnel and cannot go back without taking a detour past ...

Re: XP penalties too harsh?

Welcome Danuvis. It seems you are rather new to D&D and / or NWN. No worries, we all had to start somewhere. Without blaming any individual I cannot emphasize it enough that it is better to plough through the forums and TER wiki for a few hours prior to enrolling your first character on TER. Having ...

Inquiries about the troll hunter named Ban

In Sarshel and Outentown Fenneken asks around if anyone knows a man who names himself Ban. In particular she asks the smiths and innkeeps about a man who might be known for troll hunting and being skilled at it. Also those selling torches and items such as bottled acid and firey substances are addre...

Re: Ideal Party Size

I agree with all of the above but it can be complicated at times and a successful split up of a large group requires OOC and IC consideration for all participants. Some PC's and players absolutely want to travel with player or PC X and Y. Those may ask themselves : 'Do I - really - - need - to trave...

Re: Community - DM Feedback

I echo all of the above. Also, with so many players and the relatively small DM team you are doing a great job. You also want to play (and should!), have busy enough real lives and still you manage to impress. TER is set down as a place where players do not necessarily need a DM with them to spend a...

Re: Community - Builder Feedback

Much credits to those who built the new(er) areas south of Sarshel and Outentown. I am now discovering them and they breathe a great atmosphere. The one or two dungeons I have seen there are also of good quality. The building team in general deserves kudos for putting all the areas down and together...

Re: XP penalties too harsh?

I do not want to come across as schooling anyone but I have some suggestions and insights about the death system and how it affects your PC's. First of all, more than in any other place where I have played NWN this is one where caution is the key word. Ofcourse I am blaming the kettle because only t...

Re: Community - Player Praise

A big thank you to all players, new and old. After taking a break that took I do not know how long it is great to see that TER is still breathing. And it is doing like never before. The quantity has significantly improved and the quality did not drop. It likely has actually improved. Thank you all!

Re: Variable Tier Healing Kits

About the general usage of kits i would like to add that my melee fighting types always have heal as a skill. I consider it mandatory for anyone who regularly gets into a fight and regularly gets bashed. My level 5 barbie has 70 hps. He uses healing kits primarily for healing since it is a lot cheap...
