Me, Boo and you

We were walking around the block today when this little fella hobbled out of the bushes, climbed onto my shoe and just sat there shaking! I picked him up, much to Mrs Brind's displeasure - "don't bring it anywhere near me, it's a rodent!!" - and stroked him for a bit.
I'm not applying any pressure to him in the picture, just cupping him to keep him warm and eventually I put him back in a tree. I don't know - it looked like a baby that had fallen? He had a bloody nose I hope poor Boo survives. I know that if either of my daughters was still at home we would have had a fire, ambulance and police and an emergency vet in a helicopter on the way within minutes.
It's not a bunny Kilaana, but I hope this easter squirrel makes you happy instead
Very best wishes to all of you!
