Hey everybody!

Random, fun hypothetical that I threw Copper Dragon's way today: if your PC had a Pokémon as their adventuring companion, which Pokémon would that be? We already did a fun session of brainstorming for different PCs, so it'll be cool to hear if we got it right or not!

This is exclusively an RP exercise, we didn't consider anything like power level or ability to battle other Pokémon here. It was just a matter of matching personalities and interests. This is what we came up with for our own--

• Artemis D'Assanthe - Ninetails
• Aryen Caladras - Cubone (potentially to be ripped away from him by Anton)
• Tristan Thalavar - Vaporeon

Let us know what you'd decide for your own characters - maybe we came up with the same answer? Don't feel the need to explain yourself either. This is, obviously, just for fun. Unless we introduce a PrC that gets a Pokémon Companion instead of an Animal Companion...

PS. We stuck to the original 150 Pokémon, and think you should too because otherwise we won't know any of the Pokémon you pick. We'll VETO your answer and give you Tentacool if you do that. You've been warned.

I have never been much into Pokemon and do not know about all the different types. That said, such a thread still is good fun. Therefore I challenge others to come up with companions for my PC('s) if they are willing.

Fenneken kinda strikes me as an Umbreon or Murkrow kinda gal, but that's from limited interaction.

Selaeno would probs have a Haunter following around but I'm biased because Gengar and his evolutions are my favorites of all time.
