Teresa Derlev, Adorned of Ilmater, is working frequently with other members of The Triadic faith within Sarshel to induct neophytes. Since Sister Kelda gave a speech of triumph in which she urged unity and the fight for the future upon the steps of the since-consecrated Temple of the Triad in Sarshel, the churches have gained momentum once more: for Tyr, the loss of Cammor Deshmrik has been both a source of sorrow and of awakened inspiration among the populace, and His church is progressing towards a level popularity with that of Lathander's, led by High Dawnlord Artemis D'Assanthe. The church of Torm is gaining traction, too, although it continues as per custom to move to in a more militant sphere than the more publicly-applied dogmas of Ilmater and Tyr.

Politically, new ideas are up for exchange, innovated by the arrival of the Lady Scion. The subsequent departure of the same political activist has marginalised these ideas somewhat, and they are topics of intrigue and casual conversation much as western novels might be, rarely to go beyond the boundary of fireside discussion and into the realm of activism. Nevertheless, some speakers might yet emerge from among the rabble of educated youths that attempt to articulate those ideas as well as the Lady Scion that preceded them.

Among the new entrants into the churches, one known foremost among the adventuring population is Cassandra, whose last name goes unspoken, who from afar has come to lend her aid to Impiltur and Sarshel most particularly. Coming now into public recognition as Sister Cassandra, being endorsed by Sister Kelda, Alorn Jerek, and Teresa Derlev, Adorned of Ilmater, the world moves too busily - and the church of Ilmater too modestly - for public ceremony to hail the occasion. Having worked all the while in the colours of Ilmater and under His name, the Priestess' induction into the church might by some be considered only a formality, and would scarcely change the way in which her benevolence has aided public opinion for The Crying God. Yea, it is so that Our Lord Upon The Rack yet maintains His principality among the five Gods of Sarshel that have since The Time of Troubles and even before it been most in favour: He, those two other righteous faiths that are Tyr's and Torm's, and the churches of Lathander and Sune.
