Barmaids and Bewitching

Postby Jogglehog » Wed Feb 27, 2019 4:37 am

Twice herself, probably third total, Belqista makes sure the Sarshel Ilmatari know the predicament with their charge, herself not far from the clinic. Back in the inn, she tries to detect magic on the spot the boy passed, during a lull in business.

The rest of her shift, she might try to use her personal charm to pry information from customers about the boy, anyone suspiciously withholding information might get served a magically flavored drink, stronger than what they may have anticipated, to loosen tongues.

The end of the day leads her back up to her room, bottle in hand. One last spell and it tastes like Cormyr's best, just like the others under the bed did...
Eshani Shadeheart - 'Pardon me, the music is moving, moving from left, to right. Apologies, for losing my cooling, losing the day, to night'
Belqista - 'Dabba dee, dabba di.'
Tamas - 'I watch you search for some reply to lend me! But when the rain is done we'll stop pretending...'

The boy is nowhere to be seen upon her return to the Star from the Ilmatari clinic. At her charming inquiries, many of the patrons all too eagerly that the "sick brat" was carried away by that "unsmiling Half-Elven peasant". Good riddance, many will add!
