The Easting Reach

Lori spreads word that she is looking for a few companions to venture into the mountains near Vlasta. She claims to have uncovered mention of some ruins, and although what may lie within them is not disclosed, some locals mutter about the "Stribog" and of places that should be left alone - but those rural types always say that, don't they?

//Looking to gather any interested PC's at Vlasta on Friday, 2100 GMT.

With the relative lack of seasoned warriors, the expedition to the mountains is put on hold for now, although the group that did gather managed to push back an orc threat, albeit with more than a few bruises gathered on the way. Lori decides to hang around Vlasta for a few more days, to see if the original plan can be carried out; meanwhile the possibility of scouting the ruins remains.

The mountains of Vlasta are not the only ones where threats linger, or indeed labour. The wizard's mysterious destination may lay undisturbed for now, but further south, in the foothills that rise from the Filur region, other matters may be more pressing. The scout Amber returns to Sarshel, and spreads word of some goblin activity.."Clever buggers, they gots scouts posted, each one can see t'other...needin' some sneakers t'knock 'em off, then get some muscle t'bang some big gobber 'eads in t'mine...yeah, reckon they're workin' it, so goin' t'be some ore...aye, maybe time t'stake a claim..goin' t'ave t'be careful though, theres some nasty buggers in them 'ills.."

//Going to try Wednedsay, 2030 ish UK time, at Filur with suitable PC's who can get going with minimal fuss, if such is possible, or Sarshel this evening at a similar time to make the journey.

//Thanks to those who came along, the mine trip ended up being done tonight, but Amber will hang around Filur if there is any interest in further exploration tomorrow/Friday (there is more to the mine, or harpies, possibly??)
