A scrawny middle-aged man has been seen wandering aimlessly in the Docks day and night, usually with a bottle of liquor, and always with a wooden sign hanging around his neck that read "Batter a man for a Halanth". It was unclear if there was a purpose to this initiative other than gratuitous masochism but those that paid the price of a single silver rarely cared to ask. Rabble-rousers and sailors seemed to be a favored clientèle, but anyone could throw a fist if they had the coin to offer.

Jonan stops by the corner, watching the man with the sign. There's a frown on his face as he tries to decipher what the hell is going on.

While performing her daily duties at the soup kitchen, Cassandra couldn't help but to notice the scawny man wandering around the Docks with the strange wooden sign. Her pacifist nature clashes of course with this odd private initiative and she struggles to understand the goal, apart from the money.
She'd gently approach him and question him about his identity and why he's allowing people to hit him, with the compassion that only an Ilmatarian can show. She'd also offer him a free meal if he's in need of such and accepts to.
