Clunky title, I know.
On my first adventure on TER, a few days ago, there was a trap in a goblin cave. My character disarmed it, but then it seemed to stay there, complete with the red area and trap skill selection menu - attempts to disarm it were considered "impossible" but I could examine it I think, so it was confusing. We were able to walk over it just fine, and I wasn't the only one to see it like that.
I'd remember the spot if I saw it, but I don't recall ATM.

This usually happens when a trap is flagged before it is disarmed. The reason is that disarmed traps are actually just disabled, to facilitate dungeon respawning. Normally, they can be returned to their 'undetected' state, but the flagging prevents this.

I see. Consistent with my experience too, I think; I always Examine traps before Disabling them, and the other traps I Examine-Disabled disappeared, but that one in particular was probably Examine-Flag-Disabled.
