Bjorn leaves a message that he would agree to a balan and a half, but could only provide half down and the balance in two weeks, with the understanding the seller would hold the weapon until paid in full.

With the passage of time, notices advertising the sale of this weapon appear once more. The listed price is now simply "Best Offer before the 12th", with the addendum that "Unreliable buyers need not apply. Offers backed by hard coin only."

Upon a rare visit to the hewn and plastered stone structures that make up the city of Sarshel and intent upon other purposes, Elis notices the flier and--having some interest in the item but entirely lacking the culture to proceed in the standard format of the bid--rips off the flier and inspects the parchment for detail on whom the seller might be.
