Shopping for Lords

Postby Ostheim » Mon Feb 08, 2016 5:55 pm

Having purchased her feudal tax papers (with an air of perhaps having been put-upon whilst doing so), Wynna makes it her next step to determine which lord or lady would be most deserving of her fealty, or at least one not so likely to make her life more difficult. Being of an intellectual mind, she takes time between her labors of scribing and adventuring to pay the proverbial bills to make the trip to Songhall, questioning the locals there about the nearby lords and of their demeanor. Ideally she seems of the mind to meet with one of them, if possible, though this would of course be a difficult sell to most of a feudal persuasion.

Still, the effort is being made. If she's going to live here, it may as well be spent living in the service of one interesting.
Wynna Blackwing - Scholar of history, ruin delver, intrigue dabbler
Rannie Marrinson - Knight-Errant, Paladin of Sune
Teobald Grzywacz - Outentown peasant, ranger and adventurer

((Please see this topic for information about the nobility of the Easting Reach. It lists, amongst others, the nobles with influence in Songhall. You may roll Knowledge checks for each lord at your leisure to glean some rumours about them and will find these results in the thread as well. When Wynna is ready to follow up on more specific leads, let us know.
As an aside, though tax papers are 'sold' in Sarshel for convenience, buying and signing them implies your PC has travelled to one of these lords, sworn their fealty and paid their taxes there. We simply don't have all the different nobles, villages, thaedar and manors in the module, because it'd be a lot of work, take up a lot of space and ultimately they're all mostly the same and fairly insignificant compared to settlements like Outentown or Sarshel))
