Arriving in Outentown on horseback, Merney clambered down from the saddle with considerable effort and tethered the destrier to the nearest fence. Still bleary from a restless night's sleep and fatigued from the journey to the town, he plodded into the tavern, half-dragging his feet, and headed for the counter, where he began making inquiries of a female dwarf, a supposed blacksmith, that went by the name of Huldrid the Brittle.
The armoured man of large stature offered his services as a guide and protector to the dwarf in question, along with the aid of two others, Anton and Elisabeth, asking no fee or compensation; all this conveyed through a letter left to the bartender, should the locals be unable to point him in Huldrid's direction, or if there were no female dwarves to be sighted and approached. Merney, intent on spending the next few days in Outentown regardless of the answer or lack thereof, remained readily available, staying in the Legre farmstead and often visiting the tavern.

Re: Guide
The dwarf woman is not hard to find: her evenings while waiting for a guide are spent largely at Outentown's nameless tavern. It's here that the trio can expect to find her and will be able to offer their assistance... surely the company's equipment and experienced stances would immediately impress her - or wouldn't they? Now, what will the female Stout say?
OOC: I'm hoping to get together for this on Thursday starting 8:30pm Central European Time (Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin). How does that work for you three?

Re: Guide (Concluded)
Huldrid the Brittle was escorted to Thelnam by adventurers three: Merney Valroc, Élisabeth Duval and the wanderer Anton. The dwarf woman's arrival to the fishing village was, upon her retelling, not plagued by wolves; though more than that she does not share with the locals. If any trouble did find Huldrid and her guides along the road, she doesn't seem to find it worthwhile to mention.
She does seem pleased with the services that she'd received, and if anyone asked, a gruff firm nod and a stern good word are offered: good guides; professional and full of common sense. Certainly moreso than her travelling companion, Miklos "the dolt". The adventurers might see the pair again sometime, and if not these adventurers, maybe others.
