Writing on Scrolls, how do you do it?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to write on scrolls in-game.

I have purchased a few scrolls, along with ink and quill, but when I use the scroll and the writing menu appears I can not commit anything to parchment.

I am likely missing something simple and would greatly appreciate assistance in figuring this one.

Thank you!

You have to use the Selection Tool on the scroll. Then after it's selected, use the @description commands to edit the items description.

The writing scrolls and books have a unique power to start a conversation. While @name and @description work fine, the conversation makes it easier to copy/paste, timestamp and so on. What you do is speak the text you want, then click the appropriate action (like setting the title or adding a line). Speak the next line, click when you're happy with that. Repeat until you have your desired result.
