I suppose there are some advantages to having this subforum, I do still think unless you are very frequently wanting to give updates on your characters while off the server OOCly things are fine as they are. If this is something people want and its easy to do (I'm unsure it would be) then I wouldnt complain or anything obviously, as it is I was mostly trying to suggest that PMs are something here already that could work similarly at least to the suggestion.
