Lag alert announcement for big events

Hey all,
While I fully understand the need for DM'd events and I also understand that sometimes they shall bring along a good deal of lag (many PC's, NPC's and a richly decorated area as a decor), at least I would sincerely appreciate it if the playerbase could be notified of this when it is forseen. Obviously we all have to deal with un- or less forseen lag from time to time and this suggestion does not apply to such. But in a case as this evening I was looking forward to doing some stuff IG that is not possible because of the lag that seems to be caused by a planned event. I hope all involved shall really enjoy it and please correct me if I have been wrong anywhere in this post.
