[Ongoing campaign] The Captain of the Waves

Postby Holy_Rage » Thu Dec 21, 2017 11:58 pm

Hello good people of TER,

I would like to see if there are any takers on the following idea:

A weekly campaign, taking place in TER on a mutually arranged time and date, with brand new level 1 PCs and me as DM. A basic biography would also be required for each participating PC, as campaign play by default allows the DM to focus on their players and spotlight their particular goals and traits. The PCs would be dedicated to the campaign, as in they would not be allowed to engage in other activities that would alter the PC (such as adventuring or long trips away from the last campaign location) in any significant way. The way I have the campaign set out in my mind, it would need a minimum of two months (or 8 weekly sessions) to be concluded. Downtime between sessions can be used for additional PC in-game role play or forum RP, as the participants see fit.

Once the plot is finished (or the PCs fail miserably), all possibilities are open, aka the PCs could decide to continue the campaign plot or they could opt to be "released" from the constraints of campaign play and become normal PCs again.

The campaign is open to all TER players and staff and would require a minimum of three participants to begin. If interested, please drop a word below here, stating also your preferred day and time for such a thing. For the sake of convenience, I am suggesting Sunday euro evenings (US afternoon), as this time would allow both Euro and US players to participate without starting at mutually impossible hours. The day and time proposed is my personal suggestion; feel free to suggest otherwise.

Be well and game on!

I am in. Figure even if you kill off my level 1, better than my level 8 you keep trying to get.

Afraid I can't make it, we have family arriving for Christmas. We have soup and snacks then go to church. Have fun, and I can't wait to hear how the first session goes.
