Character Name: Viktor Wolfgang von Drakensang
I recently got to level 2 on a character, and I did not know the proper/full functionality of 'Rapid Reload' which is the feat I took at level 2. It seems this feat is only useful at level 6 when it can actually have a function (due to getting a second attack at that level). Even though I am making a point of researching everything and asking questions to the utmost extent these mistakes arise as I am not only unfamiliar with TER's custom mechanics but generally any mechanic not associated with the Wizard or Sorcerer class as I am usually a very specialist player of magic-focused classes.
I was planning to change Rapid Reload to Called Shot, however some discussion (for which I am thankful!) arose in the #technical-support channel which was very informative for me. As a result, in order to make my alteration both viable AND totally in line with the character concept, I request the following changes:
- I wish to alter the Doktor's attribute spread to: STR: 16, DEX: 16, CON: 10, INT: 14, WIS: 10, CHA: 8.
It was previously: STR: 12, DEX: 16, CON: 14, INT: 14, WIS: 10, CHA: 10. - I wish to replace the feat Rapid Reload with Called Shot.
Dropping Charisma (by 2 points) is in line with his general persona, though he is not without his own personal strength, he has no interest in leadership and due to such factors as his super heavy accent and unapologetic nature this may even be a more fitting representation of his character.
Dropping Constitution is mostly a non-statement. Yes, the Doktor is less healthy than originally envisioned but perhaps he has put his focus on being on the field (increased Strength) and his health is demonstrated by his physique as such. This would especially be true because if you were to ever see it, the good Doktor carries a veritable arsenal of medical supplies on his person, as per an exerpt from his description:
Upon closer inspection, one would notice the bandolier beneath his coat lined with rows upon rows of scalpels of varying blade size, as well as the occasional axe - possibly and maybe slightly concerningly for use in amputation.
Finally, it may also be noted that the Doktor's coat is heavily reinforced, and whilst kept free of blood-stains and indeed well maintained, it suggests that this, in addition to the colour of his accoutrements may be the outfit of one who practices battle-medicine.
